You can register online for both Tax Identification Numbers at the Department of Employment, Training & Rehabilitation (DETR) website. Click Create a new online user account to begin. Contact the agency directly at 1-775-687-4545 for registration assistance or to check if a tax identification number is already assigned for your business.
Normally, you'll receive your SUTA Number instantly after registering. This Tax ID is a 9-digit number formatted as XXXXXX.XX-X.
